Hi I'm Brie. You've probably seen me during night group sessions, sorry morning kids.My introduction to CrossFit was watching the 2011 Reebok CrossFit games rerun on ESPN2. After watching Julie Foucher handstand walk a football field, I was immediately hooked. I searched the nearest CrossFit gym and signed myself up for my first introductory class at Badger CrossFit that Saturday and 10 months later I’m writing this.I’ve been participating in sports since I came out of the womb. 15 years of gymnastics competition and coaching, 4 years of pole vaulting and as hard as it is to believe – I actually used to like running. I even ended my college career with a full marathon.Since college, I became a certified personal trainer, worked in inpatient and outpatient nutrition, and currently hold a job as a Nutritionist for the City of Milwaukee Health Department working with the WIC program. Due to the fact I'm firm believer that a healthy lifestyle starts during childhood it’s the perfect job for me.Other than that I like red wine, obnoxiously bright colors, and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t wish Taco Bell was paleo. As far as coaching goes, I will continually drive to beat my personal best, and hope my competitive nature will help others push themselves to be the athletes they want to be.
