Dial in your fitness by way of wholesome, fuel-focused nutrition. We’ve created a fine-tuned nutrition program, powered by Working Against Gravity, to ensure that every minute you spend in the gym pays off — mentally and physically. Our nutrition coach will work with you to help you turn your sweat sessions into the results you’re after.

How does it work?

This program pairs you with a nutrition coach from our gym who has been screened, trained and certified to teach you the ins and outs of meal prepping, weighing, tracking and more. Your coach understands that every physical body is different. They listen, adjust and help you learn how to make sense of your own anatomy and relationship with food. Because no two bodies are the same.

Then your coach will tell you how many grams of protein, fats and carbs you need to consume daily to reach them.

“Coach Joe developed a nine week program for me, with additional one-on-one skills sessions to help me make the transition from Function to CrossFit at Badger CrossFit. While I was beginning to feel limited by Function, I knew there were many, many skills I still needed to learn before jumping in the deep end of CrossFit. I wanted to workout safely and not be overwhelmed by the movements, but I didn’t know how to get there on my own. Joe’s training program broke down those skills for me into smaller increments that made sense and which helped me build the strength I needed to actually perform the more technical and advanced movements.

Additionally, Joe made my program super accessible and provided feedback and instructional videos that fit both my learning style (visual) and my schedule (rigid). Even though this program was designed for me to be able to do on my own, I always had the support I needed to make sense of it all and Joe was great about answering my questions and tailoring my one-on-one skills sessions to address my concerns.

While my primary goal in doing this program was to learn and build-up to barbell movements, it was also really important to me to have some kind of tangible progress in my workouts. It can feel like a slog when you’re not so sure the seemingly endless reps will ever make a difference, so the little unexpected victories were huge. Towards the end of my program, I got my first ever strict pull-up and then blew away a previous Aerobic Power Interval score by 74 reps, while doing the Rx barbell movements that I hadn’t even attempted the first time I tested. These are little things, but pulling off something I couldn’t do before – with confidence – really helped me stay motivated and to trust the process.

The program has continued to pay dividends since I’ve transferred to CrossFit. I’ve been able to leapfrog several levels because I’m more comfortable with the movements and my abilities, but I also now have a better understanding of how and when to scale workouts to continue making progress without getting frustrated or risking injury. It blows my mind that I now look at the WOD on the whiteboard and think “Hey, I can do that!”
