9/19 WOD: “Randy”


Sometimes, WODs leave us completely gasping for air. Improvement comes when you go to this zone often, but not ALL the time. Different energy pathways, and all of them need to be worked. See the picture below… We work ALL these zones… But the beauty about CrossFit is that working the Phosphagenic improves the Oxidative.

Strength: 15 minutes to Practice and work up to heavy 3 Position Snatch.
WOD: “Randy” 75 power snatches for time.
RX: 75/55 Scaled: 45/30

Randy Simmons, 51, a 27 year LAPD veteran and SWAT team member was killed February 6 in the line of duty. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Officer Simmons’ wife and two children.
