Sunday Spotlight: Connor Sprague

This week we check in with a 6am/6:30pm regular, Connor Sprague! — Crossfitting since: Spring 2018. — A little about yourself: I'm married to another BCF member (Bet Sprague) and we enjoy complaining to each other about how sore we are regularly. Outside of the gym, I work at Milwaukee Tool as a mechanical engineer and am a field artillery officer in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. — How did you get into CrossFit? I've always enjoyed lifting and working out, but my workouts were getting stale when going to the gym on my own. I knew a few friends that were into CrossFit, so I decided to give it a shot as a drop-in. Not only did the workouts kick my butt more than any workout I would do on my own, but they gym does a great job keeping things fresh with varying movements and intensity. — How has CrossFit changed you outside the gym? Working out at BCF has given me a lot more energy and focus during the rest of my day. It's been awesome to get stronger and better at a lot of the movements we practice, but the metal effects of working hard here are what keep me coming back. — What makes Badger CrossFit unique?  The location, facility and equipment are all great, but the coaches and other members are what make it special. Coaches that can give good advice and motivate members are invaluable, and are the key ingredient. — Advice for people just getting started: Push through the first couple weeks of being more sore than you thought possible and once you get in the groove you'll never look back. : : : #memberoftheweek #sundayspotlight #motivation #progress #fitness #community #results #badgercrossfit #badgerbuilt #crossfit #inspiration #hardwork #fitfam #wauwatosa #wisconsin
