What is your fitness background? What were you doing before CrossFit?I played soccer in high school and college-but have been pretty inactive since then and would occasionally workout at the WAC.
How did you get into CrossFit? I was introduced to CrossFit through my husband, Ross Mueller-he was always encouraging me to join BCF but I’ve never really liked working out and would find myself just walking around the ‘globo gym’ out of boredom never really doing anything I started watching the videos on crossfit.com with him and became curious enough where I finally got fed up with being lazy and joined!
How have you changed since starting Badger CrossFit?I am now more aware of what I am capable of and overall just feel better about myself. I have also started eating much better since joining Badger Crossfit.
What are your goals for 2012? Where are you in terms of achieving them? I’m looking forward to being able to do pullups unassisted. I’m working on my upper body strength to achieve that goal!
What makes Badger CrossFit unique? I guess I’ve grown accustom to the ‘globo gym’ where no one knows your name or really cares about your progress or accomplishments-people at BCF actually care and are excited when you’ve done something you’ve never done before.

What advice do you have for people just getting started? Just do it! Don’t let your nerves stop you from getting started. You are about to surround yourself with people who will only lift you higher.
