In this pop up clinic, Tyler will teach what to look for in a proper jump rope, the basic mechanics of jumping, and timing needed for efficient double-under technique. You’ll also have time to practice what you’ve learned.
We challenge you to improve your double-unders in February in conjunction with “Jump Rope For Heart” and Valentine’s Day. If you don’t have double-unders yet, this will help you get them. If you have them, this will get you more and practice for the CrossFit Open.
Starting Feb. 1, take a few minutes before or after class to work on your double-unders. Try 1-3 times at your best unbroken score. The first day, your score may be zero. It could be 100. That doesn’t matter. What matters is the improvement throughout the month. We will track your progress for the month and prizes will be awarded to the most improved double-under member as well as the most unbroken member.
