What is your fitness background? What were you doing before CrossFit? I’ve been a member of the WAC since 2002. I’ve ran 2 marathons and have done over 30 sprint distance triathlons over the last 10 years. Before CF, I was basically running, spinning and doing limited weight training.
How did you get into CrossFit? Fellow member/good friend Kim Ramstack told me about BCF in the Fall and I went to a free Saturday class in late November and have been hooked ever since!
How have you changed since starting Badger CrossFit? I’ve lost almost 15 lbs since I first began at BCF and have gotten back my desire, strength and energy that I had lost over the last 2 years.
What are your goals for 2012? Where are you in terms of achieving them? Maintaining a healthy lifestyle! Cutting down on sweets…..I’m a choco-holic!!
What makes Badger CrossFit unique? The commaraderie amongst its members!
Any best BCF stories? None yet.
What advice do you have for people just getting started? Don’t be too overwhelmed by the all the weightlifting movements. Everyday is a new learning experience and you have to be patient!
