5/7 “Pain”


A Note from Coach Tyler…
Pain is the body letting you know that something is wrong…most of the time. I know that some of you are feeling pain somewhere right now. And that pain is telling you that maybe, you went a little bit too heavy, or that you either did something you haven’t done in a while, or need to do more often. But, it’s a very important indicator. Harlan Ellison said that, “pain is the most important thing in the universe: greater than survival, greater than love, greater than the beauty it may bring about, because without pain….there is NO pleasure”. Yes, pain sucks when it’s happening, but you will only know what pleasure is when you have something to measure it against. Don’t be afraid of it. Embrace it and know that when you are done, the rest of your day will be amazing!!! EMBRACE THE SUCK!
