Anything great starts with humble beginnings. This picture is May 5, 2011 to today, May 4, 2015. 2,000 sq ft to 12,000 sq ft. I couldn’t imagine this when I started Badger almost 4 years ago. I took it day by day, person by person, client by client. 18 hour days, 2 full time jobs, and a toddler at home — a blur of a time. There was no other way than to work and work and trust the process of what I dreamed for this community, utilizing my passion and leaning on God. People believed in me, had hope, developed their fitness, and got results greater than any other thing in their lives. They spread the word about us. But more importantly, you all trusted in me, my mission and vision. I’m not Badger CrossFit. My members/coaches, past and present, are. There is no beginning without a following, and I want to thank all my followers, believers, dreamers, coaches, staff, friends and family for this opportunity to serve you here in Milwaukee county and beyond. I and BCF will continue to do our best so you can be your best. Thank you, all.

 

Here at Badger CrossFit, we appreciate all of America’s small businesses – the engines of this country. We love entrepreneurs and the passion they bring!

With that, we have worked hard to create a tight-knit gym community and develop an atmosphere that is welcoming and relaxing to all with no pressures of any kind. In order to do this, we have implemented a new policy regarding 3rd party products, businesses, services, etc.  Some of you sell products or services, and our members may be a target of yours. So, here’s the policy, which we will post on our website, along will other policies, soon:

Solicitation of Badger CrossFit, its members and people:

Any and all members, staff and personnel within BCF are not to be used for sales of your product or service. You are not to approach and solicit sales from any person within the gym while they are members with BCF. If you have any doubts, please contact us.

You can advertise on the Badger CrossFit member board by the entrance (we must approve this first, however). You may also discuss your products/services if a member approaches you and/or is a discussion that comes up naturally by this person. The clearest way we can put this is that BCF members must be coming to you for your services, not you going to them.

We take great pride in our gym, so we can’t have it be used as a prospect field of sorts for your sales. I hope you understand our position and we appreciate your cooperation. It will create a better environment for everyone without making it awkward in future conversations.

Please respect this policy. If you have questions, please let the staff know and we’d be happy to discuss. Again, we value you here at BCF just as much as anyone and are in your corner for you as people.

+++BCF is invading Miller Park for the 4th year!

If you missed the past few Brewer outings you missed quite a show. We played beer darts, drank home brew and got to know fellow athletes. This year will be no different.

We’ll meet at BCF around 12:00 and take a bus over to the stadium. We also ask that each person brings a dish to pass.

This event is open to all BCF athletes and their families.

Tickets will be about $20+tax and we will charge your Zenplanner account.

Please make sure to RSVP no later than May 11th. We need to have a firm count to order tickets in time.

Also, we need people to bring food, drinks, apps, grilling stuff, utensils, etc.
