4/2 And 4/3 “Saturday and Sunday”

Today, after two years of pushing my limits at Badger CrossFit, I can confidently say I am in shape, stronger than I ever imagined, and the healthiest I have been in years. Eight years ago I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. At the time I was finishing up my last high school track season and I thought it was a death sentence. For years I was in denial that there was anything wrong with my body and gradually just learned to live with the everyday pain. My doctors always instructed me about the importance of exercise with RA to alleviate joint pain and stiffness, but I was in so much pain that I couldn’t fathom doing any exercises, until I decided that I had to make a change. The amazing community and staff at Badger CrossFit helped ease me back into working out, while allowing me to understand what my limitations were with RA. Now, two years later, not only have I gotten immensely stronger not mentally and physically, but I have learned to not let it hold me back and that I am so much stronger than I thought I could be.
