1/31 WOD: The CrossFit Games

There are tons of different workout programs out there.  All of them claim to make you the fittest you’ll ever be.  But how will you know?  There is a test, a true test to see how fit you really are.  The 2013 Reebok CrossFit World Wide Open is a world wide test that invites anyone and everyone to show what they have on an even playing field (REGISTER HERE).  There will be 5 workouts, a different one each week for 5 weeks, and your results will need to be either done at a CrossFit gym or via video submission.  The point is to cast the widest net possible to find the fittest man and woman on the planet.  Last year over 75,000 people participated.  The thoughts are that this year it will be around 125,000.  So what if you are new to Crossfit?  Should you still try?  YES!!!  Don’t let this stop you from giving it a go and having some fun with the other members of your box every weekend. It’ll be like a competition in here each Saturday! It’s a blast…


Starting next week (you can sign-up today for next week), you will be required to RSVP to any class that is on the calendar. Members should have received an email about this. If you have not, please contact us. A very easy and simple way to RSVP is to use the ZP iphone app, or follow the instructions in the email we sent out. If you have any questions, please contact us. WOD: AMRAP 20 of 15 burpee box jumps, 12 pullups, 9 DL (275/185)
