1/2 WOD: Happy New Year

From all of us at Badger CrossFit, we wish you the most blessed, happy, healthy and amazing 2013.

Everyone starts a new year with the best of intentions.  The new year comes around and the world all of a sudden wants to get fit.  That is a good thing.  The bad part is when life battles against your desires.  The job, the kids, the spouse, the boyfriend/girlfriend, money, food, you name it.  They start fighting you for your time and make it so “seemingly impossible” to get to the gym or eat right.  The reason this is happening is because its not part of your “normal” routine yet.  Its been said that it takes a consistency of 25-28 days straight of an activity for it to become part of your “normal” routine, something that you do daily without thinking about it.  Exercise and healthy eating takes the same amount of work for it to stick.  Stay in the fight for the 28 days and then you will be so normal with it, you wont even think about it.  But you MUST get through those first 28 days.  I know you can do it, SO DO IT!
