Badger CrossFit is a community. We’re here to help you get fitter and stronger, and we expect that as you get comfortable, you’ll help other people get fitter and stronger. This is NOT your big-box gym — you can’t be anonymous here. We’ll be keeping tabs on your progress and are always available to help you design your training and nutrition to achieve optimal results.
As the state’s ONLY and one of the Midwest’s ONLY Official Reebok Recognized CrossFit gyms, you can be confident our trainers are top notch in what we do. We’ll ask you about your goals, pay attention to your progress, scale exercises to your ability, and give you personalized advice to get you to the top of your game.
Badger CrossFit’s head coaches are Tyler and Adam Sullivan. Both have been coaching CrossFit since 2010 and have experience participating and coaching CrossFit Games athletes (Tyler being a 3-year CrossFit North Central Regional Competitor at the CrossFit Games). Badger CrossFit has certifications in USA Weightlifting, CrossFit Kids, CrossFit Endurance, CrossFit Gymnastics, CrossFit Level 2, CrossFit Football, CrossFit Rowing/Concept 2, CrossFit Self-Defense, First Aid, CPR/AED. and years of youth and adult coaching/sport experience. Badger CrossFit athletes get great coaching and a variety of expertise from many walks of life. Under Tyler, Badger CrossFit has also had the honor to be the lead fitness trainer for two contestants on ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Weightloss Edition!
Badger CrossFit is the only Reebok Recognized CrossFit Gym in Wisconsin — a recognition based on community, coaching, programming and atmosphere (more on this here). With over 10,000 square feet of space, Badger CrossFit is one of the largest gyms in the country. This allows us to lift weights, use Olympic lifting platforms, flip tires, push objects, swing sledgehammers, tumble around, run around a conventional track (located less than a mile away)… and tons more crazy, fun stuff! This is an authentic CrossFit experience with Badger CrossFit offering some of the most flexibility in functional equipment around.
You’ll be expected to keep track of many of your workouts. All of our workouts are completed for time, reps, or max weight, so you’ll be able to track your progress and see yourself improving as you go — you’ll be amazed how much faster and stronger you’ll get if you stick with it, even if you’re working out just twice a week.
