Are you an existing CrossFitter moving to the neighborhood? Can you comfortably perform the foundational movements of CrossFit?  Have you been training in your own CrossFit garage or apartment gym for a while but hitting a plateau because of a lack of equipment and motivated training partners? Or are you tired of trying in vain to get your CrossFit WODs in at the big globo gym among the crowds and high-tech contraptions, where no one seems to break a sweat? Or maybe you’ve trained at another CrossFit box and you’re just ready to take your fitness to the next level in a CrossFit gym that is more your style and can give you a more focused approach. We know where you’re coming from!  We’ve been there. You may be a candidate to be able to test out of our Elements!

Badger CrossFit welcomes a broad spectrum of people of all abilities, but we don’t think that means we have to neglect our athletes that want an environment where they can push their limits, continuously working on new skills and challenges. Our coaches are competitive athletes themselves and you can trust that we are serious about hardcore, comprehensive fitness.

If you are a current or aspiring competitor or just someone that is ready to try something more than watered-down, one-size-fits-all WODs, we offer customized programming and performance analysis in our Strategic Performance Development program to help you reach your goal, whether it’s improved body composition, or the title of Fittest on Earth – we will give you the venue and support you are looking for.

Here’s the scoop….

The Elements Test-Out is a 30-minute appointment with a coach. It incurs a small one-time fee of $10 which can be added to your membership.

To pass the test out, you must demonstrate competency in the following movements:

  • Air Squat
  • Front Squat
  • Overhead Squat
  • Deadlift
  • Sumo Deadlift High Pull
  • Press
  • Push Press
  • Push Jerk
  • Clean

You must then complete the following workout in under 6 minutes:

  • 500m Row
  • 40 Air Squats
  • 30 Sit-Ups
  • 20 Push-Ups (may be scaled to knee)
  • 10 Pull-Ups (may be scaled to jumping)

We require that all athletes either complete Elements, or test out of it prior to regularly attending our CrossFit Group classes. 

Existing CrossFitters with at least 3 months of experience are welcome to stop by, meet us, and try out a class prior to testing out of Elements. If you have no experience with CrossFit, you must complete Elements regardless of prior alternative athletic experience.
