WHAT IS OUR CROSSFIT KIDS PROGRAM?

Our CrossFit Kids course is a CrossFit based training program designed for 9 – 14 year-olds. This program is appropriate for boys and girls of all athletic and fitness abilities who are motivated to improve their general physical fitness, especially strength, speed, and endurance. Led by Coach Bailey!
CrossFit Kids participants will be educated on the barbell lifts, the Olympic lifts and many gymnastic movements (Pull Ups, Rope Climbs, Ring Dips). No experience is necessary for this program. If your child is participating in organized sports, many of the lifts and gymnastic movements are the same ones that they will be exposed to in high school and beyond. Badger’s CrossFit Kids Program provides a solid technical foundation for those later years.
Proper technique is CRITICAL to gaining strength & power in addition to avoiding injury. Our Coaches are extensively trained and experienced in all the barbell lifts. No one will be pushed beyond their capacity – and increases in weight will only be allowed under the supervision and instruction of a coach.
Badger’s CrossFit Kids camp is a fun program that teaches all athletes about the importance of strength, fitness, proper nutrition and discipline in taking care of your body.
Participant Requirements
The participants should be eagerly interested in learning about CrossFit, Weightlifting and Gymnastics.
All athlete participants must plan to attend all classes during the program. 1 – 2 absences for emergencies or family travel are permitted.
All athlete participants must be good team members – participating with enthusiasm and encouraging and cheering for others.
COACH BAILEY
I started gymnastics at a very young age and continued the sport through college, where I competed at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. After graduating, I found myself looking for a new way to stay active and was introduced to CrossFit. Additionally at this time was when I discovered my love for coaching. Throughout the years, I spent time coaching both recreational and competitive level gymnastics. Beginning in 2023, I continued my love for coaching by transitioning into coaching both adult and CrossFit Kids classes. My passion for coaching and the sport of CrossFit has only grown since then. I look forward to helping individuals grow both physically and mentally, while having fun doing it!
